VOLTA — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the VOLTA Trading Bot (“VOLTA”, the “Service”) processes personal data when you use the Service via Telegram or related interfaces.

Plain-English summary
VOLTA collects the minimum data required to function. Wallets remain under user control. If you choose to let VOLTA generate or store wallets for automation, they are encrypted using industry-standard cryptography.

2. What data we collect

Telegram identifiers
Telegram user ID and chat ID, used solely to associate bot commands and settings with a user.
Wallet data (optional, user-initiated)
Private keys or wallets generated by VOLTA only when the user explicitly enables wallet automation features.

No names, emails, phone numbers, identity documents, or behavioural profiling data are collected.

3. Wallets & private key security

VOLTA may generate or store private keys for users strictly to provide automation features (such as trading execution or creator reward distribution), and only at the user’s explicit request.

Private keys are never stored in plaintext.
All stored wallet material is encrypted at rest using AES-256.
Access to encrypted key material is restricted and used solely to execute user-initiated on-chain actions.

Security disclaimer
While AES-256 is an industry-standard encryption method, no system can guarantee absolute security. By enabling wallet storage or generation, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks.

4. Purpose and legal basis (GDPR)

Performance of a service requested by the user (Art. 6(1)(b)) — operating the bot and executing commands initiated by you.
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — maintaining security, preventing abuse, and ensuring service reliability.

5. What we do NOT do

No sale or commercialisation of personal data
No advertising profiles
No tracking across websites
No KYC or identity verification

6. Data sharing

Data is shared only where technically necessary:

Telegram (as the messaging platform)
Blockchain RPC providers
Infrastructure and hosting providers operating VOLTA servers

7. Data retention

Telegram identifiers and configurations are retained while you actively use the Service.
Encrypted wallet data is retained only while wallet automation features are enabled.
Users may request deletion of their data at any time.

8. User rights (EEA / UK)

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Request correction or deletion
Object to or restrict processing

9. Children

VOLTA is not intended for children. Do not use the Service if you are below the legal age to consent to data processing in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of VOLTA constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
